The CHME program currently offers minors in the areas listed in the right menu bar.
Students can receive CHME 498 Undergraduate Research credit toward a minor of study when the post is tagged with the minor title.
Declaring your minor (by college):

- Arts & Sciences:
- Please note that this form only provides the declaration of your minor. When you are in the process of completing the minor coursework (when all courses for the minor are either complete or in progress), you must submit an application for your minor to be approved by the corresponding department if the Minor is Biology, Chemistry or Biochemistry or Math. To do so, run a STAR Degree Audit, accessible at degreeaudit.nmsu.edu, for the minor, complete all required information on the form, and submit it for processing to the departments main office.
- Business:
- Please note that this form only provides the declaration of your minor. When you are in the process of completing the minor coursework (when all courses for the minor are either complete or in progress), you must submit an application for your minor to be approved by the College of Business. To do so, run a STAR Degree Audit, accessible at degreeaudit.nmsu.edu, for the Business Administration minor, complete all required information on the form, and submit it for processing to the College of Business Advising Center.
