The Department of Chemical & Materials Engineering, in cooperation with the NMSU student chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, provides outreach services to the campus and community.  AICHE has become expert in providing engaging and entertaining science demonstrations for K-12 students with the intent of sharing their love of science with others.  CHME faculty are also available to speak in your classrooms or at your meetings about current events of interest to the chemical engineering profession, about career opportunities, education pathways, or simply about motivational topics to encourage students to seek a higher education.
