Opportunity for student who has done international research

Good afternoon!

I hope you are all starting the semester off well!  My name is Angel, and I am the Director of Education Abroad. I am working with NMAMP to put together a panel on international research for the New Mexico Alliance for Minority Participation (NMAMP) conference in October. We are looking for undergraduate students who have been doing international research to present at the conference.  The audience is made up of STEM students, primarily community college and university, with around 70-90 high school students.  There will be 5 panelist (two faculty and three students) helping to inspire students to do international research through sharing their story.  My ask is if you know of any students in the Engineering field that would be willing to do a presentation approximately 8-10 minutes long, and presented twice.  The commitment would be on October 13th from 9:15 – 11:30am.

Please feel free to email me names and emails of students you recommend! We have ACES and the hard sciences represented and I would love to get someone from Engineering on in the last spot on the panel.

Thank you for your time,
