Dr. Houston named 2014-2018 ISAC Scholar

Dr. Jessica Houston was named a Scholar of the International Society of the Advancement of Cytometry (ISAC) this week, representing one of the highest recognitions of accomplishment for a researcher in the field of cytometry.

The mission of ISAC is to serve a multidisciplinary community by leading technological innovation, scholarship, and the exchange of knowledge in the quantitative cell sciences.  ISAC publishes the journals Cytometry (leading journal for new advances and applications in cellular analysis and Current Protocols in Cytometry.

Through Dr. Houston’s recognition, NMSU is now recognized alongside some very strong company that includes: the 2014 list of ISAC scholars includes representation from The Paul O’Gorman Leukemia Research Centre, Institute for Cancer Research, Glasgow University; The Centre for Immunophenomics (CIPHE), Marselle, France; The University of Pennsylvania; and The Centre for Image Analysis, Uppsala University and Imaging Platform, Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT.

Dr. Houston will maintain the status of ISAC Scholar through 2018.
