Houston & Houston funded again by Cowboys For Cancer Research

Kevin Houston (CHEM/BCHE) and Jessica Houston (CHME) have been funded $50,000 by Cowboys for Cancer Research (C4CR) in the 2016-2017 funding cycle for their continuing project, “Creating metabolic maps of individual cancer cells using high-throughput fluorescence decay kinetics.”

CHME students receive $20K of the $35K in space grant awards

The New Mexico Space Grant Consortium awarded six New Mexico State University College of Engineering students with Research Scholarships/Fellowships for the spring 2016 and fall 2016 semesters totaling $35,000.  Three of those six awards went to CHME for a total of $20,000.
