Four CHME faculty receive OER mini-grants

The Office of Engineering Research (OER) convened a review panel consisting of four faculty. Each mini-grant application received three individual reviews and scores, composite scores were computed, and each application was discussed.

In the final summary, CHME faculty were awarded the following (each a $10,000 award to be shared by the two collaborators):

  • Dr. Foudazi and Dr. Cortes – Environment & Infrastructure and Manufacturing & Systems Engineering (target NSF MEP program)
  • Dr. Houston and Dr. Luo – Biomedical Applications (target NIH program)
  • Dr, Brewer and Dr. Valles-Rosales – Energy & Energy Storage, Environment & Infrastructure, Manufacturing & Systems Engineering, and Water (target NSF CBET program)

Congratulations to these faculty for their continued outstanding efforts in the area of establishing renowned and funded research programs.
