Dr. Brewer receives University Research Council Early Career Award

Congratulations are in order for Dr. Catherine Brewer, who received the Early Career Award for the 17th Annual University Research Council for Exceptional Achievements in Creative Scholarly Activity.  This award includes a $2,000 check that was presented at the Fall Convocation.  Dr. Brewer joins Drs Hongmei Luo, Jessica Houston, Reza Foudazi, and Thomas Manz (as well as former CHME faculty member Shuguang Deng) as recipients of the recognition of the strong research programs each built in CHME at NMSU.  At this time, half of the current CHME faculty have been recognized with this award.
