Omega Chi Epsilon (OXE) Honor Society

Omega Chi Epsilon is the honor society for Chemical Engineers.  The first chapter of OXE was formed at the University of Illinois in 1931. The second chapter was formed at the Iowa State University in 1932.

OXE works to provide mentoring and tutoring assistance in the NMSU CHME Department.

Because OXE is a professional honor society, one of our major principles is to uphold scholarship. If at any time you feel that there is cheating or any other type of unethical behavior going on in one of your chemical engineering classes, please email nmstate.oxe@gmail.com. Your identity will remain anonymous as we address the situation with our department head, so further action can take place. –NMSU OXE Student Chapter 2014/2015

Recently, OXE assembled an informative PDF to assist underclass CHME student to navigate the many internship, co-op, REU, and similar opportunities of the discipline.
