The Office of Engineering Research (OER) convened a review panel consisting of four faculty. Each mini-grant application received three individual reviews and scores, composite scores were computed, and each application was discussed. Qavi Sahar was awarded a $750 Graduate Travel Award to attend the American Chemical Society National Meeting in Boston 2018 and present her research. According to the award letter, Sahar’s “application packet and recommendations were very impressive and stood out among the other applicants.”
