AICHE wins 4th straight American Cancer Society Relay for Life

The NMSU Chapter of AIChE took the victory at Relay for Life once more. The team raised just over $2200 (their second highest total over the four years of competition) for the American Cancer Society through endless bake sales, liquid nitrogen ice cream, “Pie Your Professor” days, social events, and online fundraising. All of the money raised will directly benefit the American Cancer Society. The team worked together extremely well; only teamwork made this victory possible. Countless AIChE members helped out, and every small task led to a very proud evening for AIChE when the winners were announced. The Relay for Life trophy will, for the fourth consecutive time, be engraved with NMSU AIChE. Thank you to all of the donors who made this possible, especially David & Louise Rockstraw with a last minute donation to push AICHE to the top, whose generosity exceeds our ability to thank them.
