Aaron Lindsey selected as Domenici Student Panelist

Aaron Lindsey will represent CHME as a Domenici Student Panelist at the 2015 Domenici Public Policy Conference, September 16-17, at the Las Cruces Convention Center, the third CHME student in as many years to hold this honor.  Mr. Lindsey has representation experience in ASNMSU and was a wise choice by the selection committee. Previous CHME students to represent at this conference include Vanessa Putnam (2014) and Peter Dailey (2013).

Sessions at the 2015 conference will include:

  • Education’s Role in Economic Development (Jim Hunt, former four-term Governor of North Carolina)
  • Aging U.S. Infrastructure (Ray LaHood, former U.S. Secretary of Transportation)
  • Regional Economic Development (Governor Susana Martinez)
  • Regional Economic Development (Angelos Angelou, AngelouEconomics)
  • U.S. Energy Independence (Amy Myers Jaffe, Executive Director, Energy and Sustainability at the University of California, Davis)
  • Middle East Policy (Robert Ford, former U.S. Ambassador to Syria and Algeria)

There is no charge for students to attend.
