2018 ExxonMobil LOFT Fellowship

Good day! I hope your 2018 & Spring semester is off to an outstanding start. I look forward to seeing all of you at the Engineering Dean’s council later this week.

As I do every year, I wanted to provide you the NEWS FLASH that the 2018 ExxonMobil LOFT Fellowship has been released by our strategic partner, The Hispanic Heritage Foundation. We are now accepting applications for student fellowships over the next several weeks.

As many of you are aware, this program has been very successful for several years with NMSU engineering students securing internships and full time employment at ExxonMobil. Students such as Vanessa Putnam (CHE), Mauricio Garcia (IE), Daniel Delgado Camacho (CE), Alexandra Valdez (CHE), Jessi Jo Gonzalez (EE), Jocelyn Chavez (CHE), Lindsay Martinez (ME), Pascual Camacho (CE) and Valentin Munoz (CHE) only to mention a few. This is a national program so the success we have had demonstrates NMSU student’s ability to compete against any institution in the nation.

I have included LOFT Fellowship program details below with the link for students to apply and greatly appreciate your support to share broadly across the entire NMSU Engineering College. I look forward to 2018 being another successful year for NMSU students on this program!

Please call if you have questions about the program and as always thank you for the support!
